I am an integrative counsellor providing short term therapy to adult individuals and couples in Bournemouth, London and online to help you explore the thoughts, feelings and challenges in your life

Hello I’m Lucy Blenkinsopp – Integrative Therapist & Coach.

My aim is to offer therapy sessions that are warm, honest and attuned. A place where you can safely explore whatever is present, painful or possible. It’s a space to gain perspective and improve your life.

At the heart of this work is the therapeutic alliance a relationship built on trust, honesty, and shared commitment to meaningful change. When that connection is right, therapy becomes more than talking, it becomes a way forward.

Coming to counselling later after a career in Coaching & teaching within the Health & Wellness industry and as mother and grandmother, I bring a depth of lived experience alongside my clinical training.

My approach is warm and tailored, supporting clients through life transitions, relationship challenges, loss, anxiety, depression, and issues of self-esteem and identity.

Therapy with me is active, existential and rooted in responsibility. It’s about stopping the cycle of self-abandonment and choosing to live well, now.

At the heart of my work lies a commitment to the whole person, not just what’s been said or done, but what’s been felt, missed, and carried. Therapy is not about fixing you, it’s about discovering you.

Each person I work with, brings their unique story and we begin there.

Together, we’ll explore how past experiences, may have shaped your sense of self, your relationships and the way you move through the world.

This is not about blame, it’s about understanding, taking responsibility and cultivating compassion.

From that understanding comes something powerful: a clearer sense of who you are, what you need, and what you deserve. With that as your foundation, confidence, identity, and self-worth begin to take root.

Final Note...
