My Story


I started to notice a shift in myself when I was around 40 years’ old. I’d heat up in a wave from the tips of my toes to the top of my head after a hot drink. Little did I know that it was the beginning of the change. And, as my fertility hormones faded, life would shift and never be the same again.

The menopause or perimenopause was rarely spoken about, and when it was, I heard only negativity. I was going to get thicker around my waist, become forgetful, endure hot flashes, stop enjoying sex and live inside a persistent brain fog. I felt nervous and less than optimistic about the future.

During the next 18 years, my experience of the menopause was neither linear nor straightforward. I had to become a detective on my eating, drinking and sleeping habits in order not to suffer.

At the age of 49, a little late to the party, I discovered yoga. Over the following ten years, I dug deep in myself and found a formula to embed healthy habits into my daily life. It is now my mission, my passion, to share these health and wellness pillars with other women so everyone can have the answers they need to live the life they want.

So where am I now?

Yes, menopause in inevitable in 100% of breathing women. The symptoms are different for everyone and things will change.  Like I did, you need to become a detective and bring awareness and attention to what is changing and what doesn’t serve you any longer.  This is not a phase, you don’t have to push through.  It is an opportunity,  a chance to look at every aspect of your life with a fresh perspective, take charge, and make things happen.

Now I’m 58, my waist is smaller and I am lighter, stronger, fitter and happier. My memory capacity is increasing, I sleep soundly, I have huge amounts of energy and my desire to learn, grow and develop is insatiable!

I will help you become a detective in your life. Together we will find and weed out what no longer serves you and identify what does, so you can live more deliberately.
